Instruction

As an American Canoe Association instructor trainer, I teach sea kayaking in Tel Aviv and intermittently in the north eastern United States.

Skills courses include introductory to advanced surfing, strokes, all manor of rolls, and formal assessments.

I also offer leadership and teaching workshops and exams that come with appropriate ACA certifications along with all the rights and privileges attached, including ACA insurance for instructors.  If a workshop or exam is not currently posted at the level that you're seeking, mentorship toward certification is available.

Have paddle; will travel.

Pricing per person:
  • $75 (225 nis) per hr. minimum two hours.
  • $200 (600 nis) for a more advanced half day session or a guided tour.
  • $350 (1050 nis) per day for single or multi-day overnight trips locally or abroad.
  • Ask about group rates.

I'm assembling some essays on kayaking technique. Feel free to sort though the pages here and hopefully you'll find something helpful.

More to come!

These instructions are no replacement for actual lessons with a qualified instructor (Me!).

It is not enough to read about kayaking, go and practice, go and play. The best teacher is the sea.

One of probably the most unique partnerships is between Auburn University, Huntsville City Schools and the united states Heated Blanket Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Aviation & Missile Center, previously known as as|often recognized as} AMRDEC. Students work on real-world tasks and participate in problem-solving and research.
